Oriol Reverter (Granollers, 1996) is a photographer whose lens is deeply attuned to the pulse of electronic music culture. Raised on the industrial outskirts of the city and shaped by a rigid religious education, he found early refuge in the subcultures surrounding him. At age 17, a night at the legendary Pont Aeri nightclub revealed not only a sense of community, but a strange, deep-rooted nostalgia for a time and culture he never lived through. Since then, his work has consistently focused on what is fading—spaces, scenes, emotions—and to capture the ritualistic aspect of the club culture.

After studying Photography and Contemporary Creation in Barcelona, Oriol developed long-term documentary projects such as En Órbita and Prohibido Aparcar, which reflect on the slow decline of club culture in Spain. Through works like What Remains in Ibiza and Remember Paradise, he conducts a kind of emotional archaeology of the rave, capturing its remains in desolate landscapes and abandoned architectures.

Beyond his documentary practice, Oriol has contributed from within the scene. In 2018, he co-founded Room Trax, where he worked as artistic director and audiovisual producer, curating live streamings and immersive content. He has worked as content creator for international artists such as Richie Hawtin and Ben Klock—whose visual identity he continues to develop to this day. In parallel, he has led media production teams for platforms such as Basilar, overseeing creative direction across multiple formats and campaigns.

Over the past decade, Oriol has been a constant presence behind the scenes at landmark festivals such as Sónar, Berlin Atonal, Glitch, DGTL, Afterlife...

Whether through still image or moving frame, his gaze does more than document—it interprets the soul of spaces, and the rituals unfolding within them.
